As someone who was just tagging along for the ride at Gawad Kalinga to co-founding this charity with Yibo, this has been one of the best times of my short life. I’ve learnt many new skills and developed deeper friendships with everyone involved. From the highs and the lows we’ve always tried to do our best to continue and that may be to sacrifice what you want but it will all work out at the end.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, never give up. This is something I’ve learnt throughout this project. From facing difficulties planning forward and figuring finances out. At many points during my journey I thought it was over but because of my support I persevered and continued on.

We couldn’t do it without our teams support. Even though at the end it was just me and Yibo, we had never ending support from our school, teachers, friends, and of course our supporters who donated to our cause.
